Protect your brand in Thailand.
Planning to launch a brand, sell products or expand your business into Thailand? UnionSPACE helps Thai and international brand owners assess trademark availability, select the appropriate classes, prepare application documents and coordinate the filing process.
What do you need help with?
Different trademark matters require different information. Choose the situation closest to yours and we can help identify the next useful step.
I have a new brand
You have a brand name or logo and want to assess whether filing in Thailand makes sense.
Check My Trademark →I already own it overseas
You want to establish or extend protection for an international brand in Thailand.
Discuss Thailand Protection →I have a Thai trademark
You need help with renewal, transfer, ownership changes or another existing registration matter.
Discuss My Existing Trademark →Check the trademark before investing heavily in the brand.
Registering a company, buying a domain name or opening social-media accounts does not by itself secure trademark registration. Before committing heavily to packaging, signage, advertising or distribution, it can be sensible to assess whether earlier marks may create an obstacle.
A search cannot guarantee registration, but it can help identify obvious potential conflicts and inform the filing strategy before more money is committed.
One brand can require more than one class.
The filing scope depends on the goods and services the brand will actually cover. Choosing the wrong or incomplete class specification can leave important parts of the business outside the intended protection.

Search first. File with a clearer picture.
The process below describes UnionSPACE's private advisory and preparation work together with the principal official stages. Official examination and registration outcomes are controlled by the responsible authority.
Tell us about the brand
Send the brand name or logo, the products or services it will cover, applicant details and any existing overseas registrations or applications.
Search & class assessment
We assess the appropriate search scope, likely classes and obvious filing considerations. A search informs strategy but does not guarantee registration.
Prepare & file
If you proceed, the agreed application materials and goods/services specification are prepared and coordinated through the appropriate filing channel.
Examination & publication
The authority examines the application. If accepted for publication, third parties may have an opportunity to oppose. Under the current amended framework, the opposition period is 60 days from publication.
Registration
Where the application proceeds successfully through the official process and applicable requirements are met, it may proceed to registration. Official processing periods are not guaranteed.
Overseas company or foreign brand owner?
You do not necessarily need to create a Thai company merely to explore trademark protection in Thailand. The correct applicant depends on who owns the brand and how it is intended to be used.
- Applicant and ownership review
- Overseas company-document requirements
- Power-of-attorney preparation where applicable
- Translation and certification requirements
- Thailand class assessment
- Filing preparation and coordination

We search, prepare and coordinate. The authority examines and decides.
UnionSPACE provides private trademark search, classification support, application preparation and filing coordination within an agreed professional scope. We do not issue trademark registrations, certificates or official approvals.
A preliminary search cannot guarantee registration. Examination, objections, publication, opposition, registration and official timing remain under the responsible authority and can depend on the facts of the application.
Professional fees and third-party or official charges are stated separately in writing so the client can see what is paid for advisory work and what is payable through official or external channels.
